Virginia Mefford

Virginia K. Mefford, 98, of Worthville, KY, died on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.

She was born on March 17, 1924, in Owen County, KY, the daughter of the late Hobert Roberts and Gertie Kemper Roberts.  Virginia had retired from the Housekeeping Department at the General Butler State Park and Resort in Carrollton.  She was a member of the Carroll County Apostolic Church.  She was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan.

Virginia is survived by her son, Dennis Mefford of Worthville, KY, two granddaughters, Tara McArter and Carrie Malcomb, and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Norman William Mefford, a daughter, Carrie Elaine Mefford Reynolds, a sister, Margaret New, a grandson, David Ray Mefford.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
