Verla Green

Verla Mae Green, 72, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, February 28, 2022, at her home in Carrollton.

She was born on January 20, 1950, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late James Crutcher, Jr. and Mary Isabelle Moore Crutcher.  She was a homemaker and had previously worked for Dollar General Store as a salesclerk.

Verla will be missed by her husband, Cecil L. Green of Carrollton, KY, her two son’s, Shawn Green of Ghent, KY, and James Green of Carrollton, KY, three brothers, Kelley D. (Claudia) Crutcher of Berea, KY, Curtis R. Crutcher of Somerset, KY, and Lonnie L. (Leah) Crutcher of Hodgenville, KY, a granddaughter, Cori E. (Jeff) Hammond of Glencoe, KY, and a great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2007, her mother in 2017, and a sister, Brenda Raker in 2014.
