Thomas C. Dapron, age 83, of Carrollton, KY passed this life at his home on Saturday, December 14, 2019. He was born in St. Charles, MO on October 16, 1936 to Francis A. and Marie E. Rauch Dapron. He was Lutheran by faith, retired as an accountant with Grote Industries in Madison, IN and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, IL. Tom was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association, Life Member of The Second Amendment Foundation, an active leader in local 4-H Shooting Sports, was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel and was a firearms instructor. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Marine Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Survivors include: his wife; Jane Klimpt Dapron, three daughters; Debbie M. (Mike) Polley of Ghent, KY, Kathryn A. (Troy) Bickers of Carrollton, KY and Donna J. (Danni) Meadows of Carrollton, KY, a son; David F. (Susan) Dapron of Carrollton, KY, four grandchildren; Brady Bickers, Tommy Polley, Tory Bickers (Jaren) Parrish and Drake Dennison, three step-grandchildren; Chris (Amy) Breeck, Michael (Linda) Polley and Jason (Nicky) Polley and three step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Joan F. Dapron.
