Robert Warren

Robert Lee “Bob” Warren, 88, of Carrollton, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in LaGrange, KY. He was born on November 21, 1932, in Carroll County, Carrollton, KY, to Vernon and Elizabeth Martin Warren. Robert had formerly worked for IKT Trucking where he retired after 55 years. He served his Country proudly in The United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed writing and was a member of Cove Hill Baptist Church. He was famous for his watermelon cakes.

Robert will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Edith Yvonne Dunn Warren of Carrollton, KY, two daughters, Verna R. (Bobby) Richmond, of Carrollton, KY, and Cindy F. (Randy) Robbins of Carrollton, KY, a son, David W. (Kelly) Warren of Sanders, KY, a sister, Betty J. Shafer of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Dewitt “Stevie” Warren, two sisters, Evelyn Higham and an infant sister, and two brothers, J.C. and Gene Warren.
