Jerry Johnson

Jerry Brown Johnson, 76, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on August 25, 1945, in Ghent, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Elkanah Johnson and Eula Mae Shaw Johnson.  Jerry had retired as a General Mill Wright Forman for M & R Constructors.  He was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion Post #41 in Carrollton.

Jerry leaves behind his wife, Donna Jean Gray Johnson of Carrollton, KY, a son, Jerry Lee Johnson of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Brenda Johnson of Owenton, KY, three step-daughters, Tonya Edwards of Carrollton, KY, Pamela (Jerry) Tattman of Kent, IN, and Cathy (Joe) Walton of Florence, IN, two sisters, Jewell Wolfe of Carrollton, KY, and Barbara (Larry) Burkhardt of Milton, KY,  five grandchildren, Josh, Leigh, Matt, Meagan and Lindsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, Garvin, Winston, Kanah Paul “Johnnie”, Joel, Clayborn, Leon, Jimmy and Glenn Johnson, three sisters, Juanita White, Doris June Hylton and Mildrene “Mickey” Morris.

At Jerry’s request no formal services will be held at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
