James Henry

James “Jimmy” Henry, 78, of Ghent, Carroll County, KY, died on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, IN.

He was born January 20, 1942 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late Forest Henry.  He had worked at the M&T Chemical Company in Carrollton as an Electrician.   He had also previously  worked for American Racing in Warsaw, KY in the maintenance department.   He had served as former Ghent Town Marshall.  He was very talented and could fix about anything.   He was a member of the Ghent Baptist Church.

He will be missed by his son and daughter in-law; Jimmy D. and Mary Henry of Ghent, KY, five grandchildren; Beau Henry of Glencoe, KY, Cassie Arvin of La Grange, KY, Jamie Cornett of Carrollton, KY, Jennifer Lusty of Warsaw, KY, and Jeremy Lusty of Covington, KY, seven great grandchildren; Daphnee  and Natalie Arvin of La Grange, KY, Elizabeth and Eli Cornett of Carrollton, KY, Chasidy and James Henry of Glencoe, KY, and Carli St. Clair of Glencoe, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Carolyn C. Henry on August 17, 2018, a brother; David Henry and a grandson; Joshua Lusty.

Due to current health concerns, funeral services and visitations will be private.

A Public Memorial Service is planned at a later date at the Ghent Baptist Church.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
