Debra Oak

Debra Faye “Debbie” Oak, 62, of Carrollton, KY, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Louisville, KY.

She was born on March 31, 1959 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY the daughter of the late Lester Dale “Rusty” Duncan and Ruth Maureen Ashcraft Duncan.

Debbie, as most people knew her had previously worked as a Supervisor at the former Butler Furniture Factory in Carrollton until it closed, she then went to work as a hostess at Welch’s Riverside Restaurant in Carrollton for several years.

She was a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church.  Her greatest joys were spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved to make sure that the family reunions were organized and kept together.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter; Mindy Oak of Carrollton, KY, two sons’; Dallen Oak and Charles Oak, JR., both of Carrollton, KY, three sisters; Donna Welch, Tammy Wilson and Brenda Poe, all of Carrollton, KY, a brother; William Dale Duncan of Carrollton, KY, two grandchildren; Adam Powers and Jaxon Ayres, both of Carrollton, KY.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents along with her husband; Charles Oak on July 26, 2020 and a sister; Darlene Harmon.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
