Clara May Campbell Carrico, 68, of Carrollton, KY, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
She was born on June 11, 1952 in Oldham County, KY, the daughter of the late Richard Edward Campbell and Jeanette Loraine Bain Campbell. She had formerly worked in the Hotel industry in the housekeeping department. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and a former member of the Carrollton American Legion Post #41 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and having a good conversation with family and friends and loved a good laugh, she especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing in her spare time.
She will be missed by her two sons; Jason Allen Carrico and Richard Ward “Zeke” Carrico and his wife; Tami, all of Carrollton, KY, a daughter; Suzanne Michelle Carrico and her companion; Terry Callahan of Louisville, KY, three sisters; Lucy Merriman of Manchester, TN, Mary Campbell of Shelbyville, TN, and Doris Price of Bedford, IN, two brothers; Allen Campbell of Tullahoma, TN, and Jerry Campbell of Warsaw, KY, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren,three step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Calvin “Chippy” Campbell.
Funeral Services will be private due to the current Kentucky Governor’s Mandate on COVID19 restrictions.
