Wilma Pyles
March 10, 1930 — February 15, 2018
Wilma Jean (McCreary) Pyles, 87, of Carrollton, KY, died peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
She was born on March 10, 1930 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late William Harrison McCreary and Lillian B. Hunt McCreary. She had worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years for Harris Farms in Carrollton. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Richard Lee “Pete” (Tina) Pyles of Carrollton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James L. “Jim” Pyles on December 5, 2014, her son, Kevin Douglas Pyles, two sisters, Laura Thurmond and Linda Woodside and a brother, Arthur C. Ellis.
Cremation has been chosen by the family.
Arrangements are entrusted wit the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
