William “Ray” McIntosh, II, 64, of Worthville, KY, died on Friday, December 16, 2022, at his home in Worthville, Owen County, KY.
He was born on July 12, 1958, in Mountain Home, Elmore County, Idaho, the son of the late Dickson “Dick” Lee McIntosh and Paulena Penny Freeman. He was native of Oklahoma before moving to Kentucky. Ray, as many people knew him was a private person but he loved his dogs and treated them as if they were his children. He was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed projects around the house, admiring hummingbirds that came to visit, tinkering with his trucks and rebuilding numerous things. Enjoyed visits from his family as well. certified Cherokee Indian and of the Catholic faith. He had formerly worked as an electrician until medical issues no longer allowed him to work in the maintenance department at Rotary Lift in Madison, IN. Ray had obtained his master electrician degree from Ivy Tech State College in Madison.
His survivors include a daughter; Dustie McIntosh of Warsaw, KY, and a son; Robert “B.J.” McIntosh of Carrollton, KY, a brother; Jay McIntosh of Worthville, KY, a sister; Lea Ann Beckham of Owenton, KY, four grandchildren; Jaclyn Ray, Tanner, Trenton and Trevor McIntosh, extended family, which included several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two people that he admired and loved: Norbert “Grubby” & Marjorie Grobmeier and his beloved Boxer, Cheyenne.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
