William Gex Diuguid

William Gex “Bill” Diuguid, age 81 of Ghent, KY passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends.  He was born in Cincinnati, OH on September 4, 1941 to Gex Lilliard Diuguid and Elizabeth Bailey Lineback Diuguid.  Bill was a member of Warsaw Christian Church, a lifetime farmer, entrepreneur, and businessman.  He was a graduate of K.M.I., attended Severn School near Annapolis, MD and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1964 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.  An avid fisherman, Bill was a member of the Gallatin County Fish and Game Club for over 55 years, as well as enjoying skeet shooting.  He held memberships in the Tadmor Lodge #108, F.&A.M. in Warsaw, KY, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine Club in Louisville, KY.  Bill also previously served on the Board of Directors of Farmers Bank in Warsaw, the Ghent Ky) Town Board, was a world traveler and a tobacco warehouseman.  He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and the Kentucky Air National Guard for six years attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant during the Viet Nam Era.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife; Sarah Taylor “Sally” Diuguid of Ghent, KY and a son; Gex Taylor Diuguid of Ghent, KY.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nancy Elizabeth Diuguid.
