      by his side.

After a childhood spent in Arlington Heights, IL, Louisville, and

girls’ basketball, as well as faculty chaperone for the Kentucky Youth

Assembly. He also led several student trips to Europe.

A lover of languages, Warren was able to put these skills to good use

during his many international travels and adventures with Susan. He

played golf for many years and was an avid sports fan, working visits

      Bears.

aficionados from across the U.S. and around the world. He organized

and led excursions through places such as Tuscany, Italy, the

Pyrenees Mountains, and the Greek Isles and enjoyed the friendships

that he made with people from all over.

Warren was kind, sociable, and outgoing and could build an instant

rapport with just about anyone, and he has passed down his unique

sense of humor to his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted

father and grandfather and during the pandemic was able to stay

connected virtually, entertaining his grandchildren with elaborate

stories using Lego characters as props.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Susan; two children, Henry
