Wanda Jean Bergman

Wanda Jean Bergman, 76, of Worthville, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at her at home in Worthville, KY.

She was born on October 3, 1947, in Owen County, KY, the daughter of the late Chester Simmons and Virginia Breeden Simmons. Most of Wanda's life revolved around working around the farm and in most recent years as a homemaker.

Wanda will be missed by her son, Billy Lucas, and his wife, Tina of Worthville, KY, five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Wiliam Lucas, and her second husband, Cornelius Kees Bergeman, a daughter, Rhonda Lucas, two sisters, Bonnie Cook and Betty Taylor, and five brothers, Everette, Donald, Tommy, Jimmy, and Bobby Simmons.

Her wishes were to be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
