Vivian Moorman

Vivian Keith Rice Moorman, age 89, Carrollton, died in Lexington, Ky. on January 3, 2017, after a brief illness. She was the widow of John Moorman, who died on March 18, 2014. They were married on March 26, 1951 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and were one of the oldest married parishioners there for many years.

Vivian was born in Carroll County, Kentucky on March 3, 1927, on a farm near English. She was the daughter of the late William and Flora Rice, and was preceded in death by her brother Curt, and her sisters Ella, Elma, and Stella Mae.

She is survived by her daughter Krista (Jeff) Hunt of St. Louis, MO; sons- Kerry Moorman of Smith's Grove, KY, Keith (Leesa) Moorman of Lexington, KY, and Kenny (Carla) Moorman of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by grandchildren Annabel Moorman of Boston, MA, Atticus Moorman of Brooklyn, NY, Christopher Hunt of St. Louis, MO, and Matthew Moorman of Lexington, KY.

Vivian was a homemaker, and was well-known for her peanut butter fudge, her spaghetti sauce, and her love of animals.
