Virginia "Betty" May Partin

Virginia "Betty" May Partin, 93, of Bedford, Carroll County, Kentucky, a beloved homemaker and devoted mother, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, in Fort Thomas, Campbell County, Kentucky. She was born on August 1, 1930, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky to  Albert Brooks and Ida McManis Brooks.

Betty found joy and fulfillment in her role as a homemaker, dedicating her life to raising her family. She poured her love and care into every aspect of their lives and created a warm and nurturing home for her loved ones. Betty's unwavering dedication to her family will forever be cherished.

Outside of her role as a homemaker, Betty had a passion for dancing. Whether it was swaying to the music at social gatherings or gracefully moving across the dance floor with loved ones, she found immense delight in the art of dance.  She was a member of the English Christian Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the English Christian Church located at 2076 KY-227 in Carrollton, Kentucky. 

Betty is survived by her loving daughters Paula Albrecht of Buellton, CA; Theresa Cheeseman of Terra Haute, IN; and Deborah S. Moore of Cincinnati, OH. Her memory also lives on through her sons Winston Partin of Hamilton, AL; Charles Partin of Bedford, KY; and Ronald Partin of Bedford, KY. Additionally, she leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Their lives have been greatly enriched by Betty's love and guidance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Brooks and Ida McManis Brooks, her beloved husband Gorman Partin, and son Gary Partin. Betty also joins her sister Elizabeth Brooks Cozine, brothers Allen Brooks, Johnny Brooks, and George Brooks, as well as a half-brother Dick Sturgeon in eternal rest. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved Betty.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the English Christian Church located at 2076 KY-227 in Carrollton, Kentucky. 

As we remember the life of Virginia "Betty" May Partin, let us be reminded of her unfailing love as a mother and homemaker. She leaves behind a cherished legacy of warmth, compassion, and dedication to family that will continue to inspire for generations to come. Betty's presence will forever be missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.
