Virgie "Allene" Proctor, 81, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, March 21, 2016 at her residence in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on July 19, 1934 in Lockport, Henry County, KY, the daughter of the late John and Nellie Elizabeth Neville Penn - Barley. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Sue (Edgar) Brumback of Carrollton, KY, two sons, James Thomas (Shari) Proctor of Carrollton, KY, and John Franklin (Shelley) Proctor of Carrollton, KY, a brother, John Penn of Carrollton, KY, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Lee "Bud" Proctor on November 23, 2014, three sisters, Roberta Deppe, Edenah Clark and Mary Geneva Smith, and a brother, James "Jim" Penn.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Visitation
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. William Burkhardt officiating the service.
