Viola Rose

Viola Brim Rose, 93, of Carrollton, KY, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.

She was born on October 11, 1923 in Burgin, Boyle County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late  Howard Brim and Maggie Matilda Elizabeth (Schearer) Brim.  She had spent much of her life as a housewife and a mother to her three children.  She was a member of the Ghent Baptist Church in Ghent, KY.

She will be missed by her two daughters, Fay (Charlie) Eaves of Ghent, KY, and Betty Lou Rose Searcy of Dublin, OH, a sister, Margaret Edmonds of Jacksonville, FL, and a grandson, Nicholaus Searcy of Columbus, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chris Rose on August 25, 2002, her son, Howard Thomas Rose, a brother, Leroy Brim, and three sisters, Elizabeth Prewitt, Ethel Rose and Irene Bohannon.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
