Vickie Lynn Plew

Vickie Lynn Plew, a loving homemaker, passed away at her home in Worthville, Kentucky on September 29, 2023. Born on December 13, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, 

Vickie was passionate about crafting ceramics in her earlier years. She spent countless hours honing her skills and creating unique pieces of art. Her talent and dedication were evident.

She was the daughter of Thomas Oscar Mefford and Myrtle Moscoe Mefford. In addition to her parents, Vickie is survived by her daughter Carla Doll of Worthville, Kentucky.

She leaves behind her two sisters, Nancy Jean Otter of Carrollton, KY, and Sharon Dews, and her husband Harold "Tinks" Dews of Carrollton, KY. Vickie's memory will be forever cherished by her brothers Michael Edward McEndre of Carrollton, KY, James Mitchell McEndre, and his wife Patricia McEndre of Sanders, KY.

In addition to her immediate family members, Vickie leaves behind a beautiful legacy in the form of four beloved grandchildren and four adoring great-grandchildren. They will forever carry Vickie's love in their hearts and cherish the special moments they shared with their beloved grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael Plew, a sister, Rebecca Jane Franks, and four brothers, Gary Wayne Mefford, Dennis Ray Mefford, Norman Joe Mefford, and David Thomas Mefford.

Amidst this time of sorrow and loss, it is important to remember that Vickie's remarkable spirit will live on through our dear memories. 

Services will be at a later date.  The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
