Velma Smith
May 9, 1925 — November 9, 2012
Velma was born in Mook, Breckinridge County, KY to Pete and Perlie Smiley Moore. She was a member of the English Baptist Church, Member of the English Baptist Church W.M.U. and retired from the former Ison Brothers Furniture Factor and Carrollton Cabinet Factory.
Survivors include: 2 daughters - Carolyn (Charlie) Hotfil of Carrollton, KY and Becky (Louie) Spencer pof Carrollton, KY, 2 sisters, - Bevia Arms of Harned, KY and Jean Osborne of Hardinsburg, KY, 6 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband - Robert Earl Smith, 2 sons - Robert J. Smith and Ronnie Smith, one sister - Margaret Kinerson and three brothers - Albert, Everett and Arthur Moore.
The Rev. Jason Owenby will officiate services. Memorial gifts may be made to the English Baptist Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
