Vanessa Dale Mazza, of Worthville,, Kentucky, passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 59. She was born on November 1, 1965, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky
Vanessa served as a receptionist in the Physical Therapy Department at Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She had attended Worthville Baptist Church.
Vanessa was a woman of many interests. She found joy in crocheting and was gifted with a green thumb, often devoting her time to raising beautiful flowers that brightened her surroundings. In addition to her gardening, she cherished her fur babies, Lydia and Little Dude, finding joy and companionship in their playful antics.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Vanessa leaves behind her loving husband, Rick Mazza, Jr., of Worthville, KY. She is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Ryan) Jansen of Bedford, KY, and her son, Ricky (Marainda) Mazza of Carrollton, KY. She was a proud grandmother to Brayden Service, Dylan Service, Eli Service, Nathan Mazza, Paisley Mazza, Addison Mazza, Landon Warren, Natalie Warren, and Isabella Warren, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
She is also survived by a sister, Carolyn (John) Mead of Danville, KY, and her brother, Jerry (Becky) Biddle of Owenton, KY,
Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Biddle, Sr. and Anita C. Miles Kelso, as well as her sisters, Rita Hunt and Debbie Hudgins. Their absence in her life was profound, but the love that she shared with her family ensured that their spirits lived on through her.
As we remember Vanessa Dale Mazza, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose impact on those around her will not soon be forgotten. Her laughter, compassion, and unwavering spirit will remain cherished memories in the hearts of all who knew her.
At her request, no public services will be held.
