Tommy C. Couch, 56, of Carrollton, KY, died on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at his residence in Carrollton.

He was born August 31, 1957 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Estill and Ida Robertson Couch. He was a retired Equipment Operator for Nugent Sand & Gravel Company. He was a 1975 graduate of the Carroll County High School Class. He was the former Mayor of Prestonville and he was also a former member of the Kentucky Kruizers Car Club, where also had served as President. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Cayton (Scott) Sowell of Leakesville, MS, a brother, Mike Couch of Carrollton, KY, four sisters, Pat Sharon of Bedford, KY, Bonnie Hardin of Bedford, KY, Clara Arvin of Ghent, KY, and Donna Mershall of Bedford, KY, one grandchild, Kelan Sowell of Leakesville, MS.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1980 and his mother in 2004, two brothers, Danny Couch (1977) and Dennis Couch (1993), a sister, Ruby Day (2012).

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Stewart officiating the service. Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the English Cemetery in Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Interment

Burial was in the English Cemetery in Carrollton.
