Thelma Jo Crockett Hume, 88, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wedensday, Janaury 6, 2010 at 1:23 A.M. at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.She was born on August 8, 1921 the daughter of the late Patrick J. Booth and Molly Dempsey Booth. Thelma was a retired owner of Crockett's Diner in Carrollton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carrollton.Survivors include six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Wilbur J. Crockett, second husband; Ralph Hume, a daughter; Peggy L. Varner, son's; James F. Crockett, Robert W. Crockett and Michael R. Crockett, sister; Hazel B. Gillock and Ora Mae Caldwell, brothers; R.L. and John Thomas Booth.Funeral Services were at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Carrollton. The Rev. Chris White officiated the funeral services. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
