Terry Marsha Henry

Terry Marsha Henry, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Worthville, Carroll County, Kentucky, at the age of 77. Terry was born on September 29, 1948, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, where she began a life marked by warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Terry was the daughter to the late Stanley Marshall Lingenfelter and Margaret Perry Lingenfelter. She was a cherished sister to Carroll Ann Alford and Stanley Michael Lingenfelter, and was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Leon. Throughout her life, Terry maintained close ties to her siblings, treasuring the unique bonds that only family can bring.

A devoted mother and stepmother, Terry is survived by her sons, Matthew Skirvin and Mike Lingenfelter, and her step-daughter, Terra Elderth. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Dalton Tyler Skirvin, Hannah Paige Reynolds, Harley Danielle Lingenfelter, Rayna Summer Lingenfelter, and Eli Thomas Peyton. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Terry was also preceded in death by her former husband, "J.W." Henry on April 20, 2020.

She was a graduate of Valley Station High School in Louisville, KY, and had retired from the former Arvin -Meritor factory in Carrollton.  Over the years Terry enjoyed taking care of her yard and gardening.

Family and friends will gather to honor Terry’s life at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
