Steven Shields

Steven Ray Shields, 68, died on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, IN.

He was born on September 29, 1952, in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late James Shields and Earline Stockdale Shields.  Steven had formerly worked for Kinser & Kinser as a H.V.A.V. Technician.  He served his Country proudly in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer.  Steven was of the Baptist faith.

Steven will be missed by his two daughters, Lori Howard and her husband, Parker of Carrollton, KY, and Nicole Shields and her companion, Michael Mickel of Louisville, KY, a sister, Jean K. Finney, and her husband Dave, of Carrollton, KY, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jimmy Shields, a sister-in-law, Judy Shields, and a grandson Iven Dale Simmons.
