Stephen D. Riddle, 63, of Warsaw, KY, known fondly as Steve, passed away on August 10, 2023, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky, after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 17, 1960, in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. He was a member of the 1978 graduating class at Gallatin County High School.

Steve had a diverse and fulfilling career filled with a deep passion for mechanics and the automotive industry. Until his health declined, he worked for the Gallatin County Road Department in Warsaw, Kentucky. Prior to that, he owned the former Riddle's Garage in Warsaw for several years. Steve also made significant contributions to Don's Garage in Erlanger, American Racing in Warsaw, Paul Michel Construction Company in Independence, Carnes Chevrolet, and Chapman Tire Center in Carrollton.

Throughout his years working on vehicles, Steve developed a preference for General Motors vehicles. His expertise and dedication were apparent as he meticulously worked on these cars. They were more than just machines; they were an extension of his passion and craftsmanship.

Away from work, Steve found solace and contentment in exploring various hobbies and interests. He had an unwavering love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and enjoyed taking long rides with his wife.   Steve was an avid fisherman and loved spending time outdoors.

Also a sports enthusiast, Steve cheered fervently for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Reds. He never missed an opportunity to support his beloved teams and share discussions with fellow fans.

One of Steve's cherished pastimes was dirt track racing in Florence, Kentucky. The thrill of roaring engines and the camaraderie among fellow racing enthusiasts brought him much joy. Whether watching or participating himself, Steve definitely had a love for this adrenaline-fueled sport.

Steve was a deeply caring husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his loving wife, Tina Baker Riddle of Warsaw, Kentucky, who shared and supported his journey through life. His children, Lynn (Brent) Stucker of Carrollton, Kentucky, Stephen (Jessica) Riddle of Walton, Kentucky, and Jesse Riddle (Holly Justice) of Cincinnati, Ohio, will always carry their father's legacy in their hearts. Additionally, Steve's two grandsons, Trey Stucker and Keeley Stucker of Carrollton, Kentucky, were a source of immeasurable joy for him.  His passion for classic cars will live on through his grandson, Trey.

Steve's parents, Elmer Gene and Jo Eva Stephenson Riddle, provided unconditional love and guidance throughout his life. Their influence shaped the person he became and will forever be cherished.
