Sherry Jean Groves

Sherry Jean Groves, 43, of Carrollton, Ky., died on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on June 15, 1979, in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana, the daughter of Porter and Pamela Perry. Sherry had worked as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Carrollton, where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed going to church and shopping with her friends, loved her dog Bella, and thought the world of her son, Colton.

Sherry will be greatly missed by her parents, Porter and Pamela Perry of Ghent, Ky.; her beloved son, Colton Groves of Owenton, KY; two sisters, Elizabeth Duncan of Sparta, Ky.; Crystal Wynn of Milton, KY; two brothers, Mark Smith of Vevay, IN; and Albert Smith of Warsaw, KY; her dog, Bella; her great friend, Brooke Scudder; and all her church family.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Calvary Apostolic Church in care of the funeral home.
