Semone May
June 12, 1940 — April 15, 2008
Semone was born in Lexington, Fayette County, Ky on June 12, 1940 to Emmett and Lula Watson Eldridge. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Survivors include four daughters; Sue May of Nicholasville, KY, Cynthia Burton of Carrollton, KY, Judy Harmon of Carrollton, KY and Billie Jean Cooper of Nicholasville, KY, a son; Billy Joe May of Carrollton, KY, two sisters; Imogene Harrington and LaVerne Lowery both of Lexington, KY, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Leonard S. May, Sr., a son; Leonard S. "Jigs" May, Jr., and a brother; Emmett Eldridge.
Funeral Services were held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Harmon officiated the services.
Burial was in the English Cemetery, near Carrollton, KY.
