Sarah Taylor Diuguid

Sarah Taylor "Sally" Diuguid, age 79, of Nokomis, FL, formerly of Ghent, KY, passed this life on November 13, 2023, at The Springs at Oldham Reserve in La Grange, KY.  Sally was born in Chicago, Cook County, IL, on July 29, 1944, to Phillip Taylor and Sarah Walters Taylor (Walton).

 She was a member of the Warsaw Christian Church in Warsaw, KY, and also sang in the Warsaw Christian Church Choir. Sally also sang in the Carrollton Christian Church Choir and the local Community Choir. Other memberships include the Caby M. Froman Club, Carrollton Younger Women's Club, and St. Francis of the Fields Church.  She was also been involved with the Carrollton Investment Club of which she served as Treasurer for 1 year and served as Fifth District Governor for Kentucky Women's Clubs for 2 years.

She was a private pilot, an accomplished painter, a golfer, an avid gardener, following the late Fred Wiche closely.  She exuded a vibrant interest in life and lived life lightly with a well-developed sense of humor.

Left to mourn her passing is her son, Gex Taylor Diuguid of Nokomis, FL.  She was preceded in death by her husband; William Gex "Bill" Diuguid on February 11, 2023, her parents and stepfather; Sublet Walton, and a brother; Thomas "Tommy" Taylor.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Warsaw Christian Church in Warsaw, KY, with the Rev. Phil Case officiating the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Warsaw Christian Church.  Interment will take place in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or the Warsaw Christian Church in the care of the funeral home.
