Sandra Fox

Sandra Louise Fox, 82, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, August 5, 2022, at her home in Carrollton, KY.

She was born on September 10, 1939, in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late James E. Reed and Edith Claybourne.  Sandra was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the Open-Door Baptist Church in Carrollton.  She was always ready to lend a helping hand and gave of herself endlessly.  After retirement she enjoyed traveling when she could, going to the casino and dining.  She believed in GOD and the afterlife, angels, and prayed for others.

Survivors include two daughters, Patty Burwell of Delray Beach, FL, and Kathy Thornton of Milton, KY, two son’s Earl Scott (Lisa Kinlaw) Barton of Ghent, KY, and Stephen Lillien of Carrolton, KY, two sisters, Barbara Feltus and Joy Scherb, both of New Jersey, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmie Fox on November 13, 2020, and a grandson, Travis Barton.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
