Robert Stewart
August 17, 1922 — December 19, 2004
Dr. Robert Grover Stewart, 82, of Carrollton, Ky., died on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at Veteran's Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born in Minneapolis, MN., the Son of Glen LeRoy Stewart and Mabel Frances Hartson. Robert was a graduate of the Chicago College of Optometry. He retired in 1974 as an Optometrist in Louisville, KY. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., serving in W.W.I.I. and Korea.
Survivors include a Son; Michael R. Stewart and his wife Melanie of Worthville, KY., Two Daughters; Mary Kathryn Stewart of Atlanta, GA., and Jennifer A. Stewart of Wattsfield, VT., a Sister; Mary Frances Stewart of Bedford, IN., and Three Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Two Brothers; Richard LeRoy Stewart and James Leslie Stewart.
The Rev. Pat Butcher will conduct the Funeral Service on Tuesday.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
