Ricky Devine

Ricky Dean Devine, 66, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on May 30, 1956, in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late James William Devine and Norma Jean Hicks Devine.  Ricky had farmed all his life and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed gardening and lawnmowing, playing horseshoes and cornhole, and a good card game, if he could bend the rules just a bit to benefit him.

Ricky will be missed by his wife, Frances Jones Devine of Carrollton, KY, his son, Jason Dean Devine of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Jerry Devine of Carrollton, KY, three grandchildren, three nieces; Kayla Meadows of Madison, IN, Tabitha Morgan of Madison, IN, and Deseree Bowman of Carrollton, KY, two nephews; Kyle Meadows of Madison, IN, and Corey Keel of Carrollton, KY, and a great niece; Trinity Cobb of Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carolyn Kay Buckles.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Cove Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating the service.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
