Reva Fishback

Reva Frances Mann Fishback, age 101, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, KY. She was born on September 26, 1913 in Carlisle, Nicholas County, KY to William and Ethel Gayle Feeback Mann. She was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker and farmer and formerly was employed at the Blue Gables Motel and the Greasy Spoon Restaurant. She was an excellent cook and known for her cream candy.

Her survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Jean Roberts of Carrollton, KY and Jodie Kemper of Carrollton, KY, a son, Paul Norton Fishback of Carrollton, KY. Also there are six grandchildren, Chuck Roberts, Valorie Spencer, Lisa McRoy, Beverly Hughes, Paul Fishback, Jr., and Jill Sachleben and five great grandchildren, Joe Paul Hughes, John Michael Sachleben, Matthew Roberts, Christopher Roberts and Michaela Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Dudley Fishback in 1979, whom she married in 1928, three sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy Polley officiating. Visitation was from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2015. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

Memorial Gifts: Gifts may be made to the Carrollton Christian Church or the Food Pantry of Carroll County, Inc., in care of the funeral home.
