Ray Edward Perkinson, age 68, of Carrollton, KY, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his home in Carrollton, KY. He was born on December 22, 1946 in Lancaster, Jefferson County, IN to Raymond and Margaret Mikesell Perkinson. Ray was of the Baptist faith and attended Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton and was retired from the track maintenance division with CSX Railroad Company.

His survivors include: his wife; Sharlene Coghill Perkinson, his mother; Margaret Mikesell Woods of Carrollton, KY, his five daughters; Christy Skirvin of Coleman, AL, Melissa Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, Sandra Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, Terri Mitchell of Carrollton, KY and Teresa Gray of Milton, KY, his three sons; Jeff Rowlett of Edmonton, KY, Ray Edward Perkinson, Jr. of Owenton, KY and Jayden Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, five sisters; Gloria Dermon of Carrollton, KY, Judy Perkinson of Pleasureville, KY, Karen Robbins of Carrollton, KY, Linda Meredith of Hanover, IN and Patricia Wright of Carrollton, KY, two brothers; Michael Perkinson of Madison, IN and Ronald Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a son; Robby Carter.

Visitation

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, December 7, 2015 2015 at the funeral home.

Funeral

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Jerry Ison officiating at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
