Patsy Devine

Patsy Ann Devine, 77, of Milton, Carroll County, KY, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on November 26, 1943 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late William Carter and Eleanor Ford Carter.  She believed in hard work and that showed throughout her long work history.  Over the years, she has worked for Roger’s Restaurant, Fiesta Restaurant, Joyce Shoe Factory and she last retired from the Madison State Hospital working in the Kitchen.

She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Bedford.  She enjoyed crocheting and reading her bible.  She always taught her children to have a good work ethic and believe in the LORD.

She will be missed by a daughter; Tamara Carter of Milton, KY, and a son; Ronnie Davis and his wife, Tina of Milton, KY, a sister; Wilhelmina Moore of Carrollton, KY, and a brother; Cecil Carter of Carrollton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Forrest “Pete” Devine on September 19, 2017, her daughter; Treva Davis on December 20, 1978, two sisters; Wanda Van Wye and Esther Moore, two brothers; Clyde Carter and Ronnie Carter and a grandson; Robert Rasior.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
