Nancy Clay

Nancy Ann Clay, 76, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on February 25, 1938 in Clay County, KY, the daughter of the late Mindel Byrd and Della Abner Byrd. She was retired from the Kroger Grocery Store, having worked in the Bakery and Deli Departments in Carrollton. She was of the baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Clay of Carrollton, KY, and Donald Clay of Fort Myers, FL, a daughter, Shirley Puckett of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Billy Byrd of Carrollton, KY, three sisters, Grace Noble of Ghent, KY, Josephine Prather of Arizona, and Jean Hibineski of San Bernardino, CA, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Mindel Byrd, Jr. and John Baker, a sister, Florence Davidson.

Funeral Services were on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Ison officiating the service. Visitation were from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
