Minnie Mitchell

Minnie L. Mitchell, 74, of Bedford, KY., died Thursday morning at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, IN.

She was born in Carroll County, KY., the daughter of the late Johnnie Simmons and Pauline Breeden of Carrollton, KY. She was retired from Joyce Shoe Factory in Madison, IN., and a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother of Carrollton, daughters; Paulette (David) Scott of Bedford, and Brenda (Gary) Leach also of Bedford, sons; David (Carolyn) Mitchell of Bedford, Larry Mitchell of Bedford, Terry (Mary) Mitchell of Madison, IN., and Charles Mitchell of Bedford, a sister; Thelma Ward of Carrollton, brothers; Harold "Junior" (Karen) Simmons of Carrollton, and Vernon (Joan) Simmons also of Carrollton, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband; Charles "Hank" MItchell, brothers; Doug and Carl D. Simmons.

The Rev. Troy Stewart will officiate the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
