Mindy Oak

Mindy Maureen Oak, 43, of Carrollton, Ky passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at her home in Carrollton.

Mindy was born on December 26, 1978, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Debbie Oak. She was a cook and server at Welch's Riverside Restaurant.   Throughout her life she had taken in and cared for children as her own.

She was of Baptist Faith and attended Cove Hill Baptist Church near Carrollton.

Mindy is survived by her son, Adam Powers, of Carrollton, Ky, two brothers, Charles Oak, Jr. of Carrollton, KY, and Dallen Ayers of Carrollton, KY., and a nephew, Jaxon Ayers of Carrollton, KY, three aunts; Donna Welch, Tammy Wilson and Brenda Poe, all of Carrollton, KY, and a uncle; William Dale Duncan of Carrollton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 11 am -2 pm on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Memorial Service at 2pm, with Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating. Cremation Services have been selected by the family.

Burial will take place later at the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, Ky.
