Michael Lloyd Butters

Michael Lloyd Butters, age 53, passed away at his home in Bedford Trimble County, Kentucky on December 29, 2023. He was born on July 21, 1970, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky.

Michael led a fulfilling life that was centered around hard work and a deep appreciation for nature. He dedicated several years of his career to the construction and roofing industry. 

In addition to his professional pursuits, Michael was also an avid farmer who enjoyed tending to his land and raising chickens. His love for farming brought him closer to nature and allowed him to find tranquility in the countryside he called home. It was evident that Michael had a special bond with animals as he cared for them with compassion and kindness.

One of Michael's greatest joys in life was hunting. He found solace in nature while pursuing deer in the wilderness. The thrill of the chase and the peacefulness of the outdoors were a source of happiness for him that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Michael will be deeply missed by his loving mother Diania Joan Handlon Couche of Bedford, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his father Irvin Lloyd Butters, and stepfather Billie F. Couche. 

Among those mourning Michael's passing is Silvy, his beloved dog who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Silvy remained by Michael's side through thick and thin, providing comfort during difficult times.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation service at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home located at 809 Highland Ave in Carrollton, Kentucky on Thursday,  January 4, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY,
