Mary Lillian Smith Meeks, 89, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on April 30, 1925 in English, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late John E. Smith and Melvina R. Hunt Smith. She was a retired factory worker having worked at the A.H. Wirz Tube Factory in Carrollton. She is survived by a son, Ray P. (Marty) Meadows of Worthville, KY, and three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John H. Meeks, three sisters, Nadod Smith, Melba Smith and Bertha Smith, three brothers, Ben W. Smith, Johnny Smith and Joe Smith and one grandchild.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with no services planned at this time. The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
