Mary Lynn Yeary

Mary Lynn Yeary, a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away  in Carrollton, Kentucky, on August 17, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on July 3, 1975, in Carrollton, Kentucky, Lynn’s life was filled with love, creativity, and an unwavering passion for her family.

Lynn was a proud graduate of Carroll County High School, where she established lifelong friendships and memories that she treasured deeply. She was known for her vibrant spirit and her love of the outdoors, where she found joy in camping and spending time with her family. Her artistic side shone through in her hobbies, which included painting and cooking, as well as the delightful baking for which she was well-known among her loved ones.

A dedicated softball enthusiast, Lynn enjoyed both playing and coaching, fostering a love of the game in younger generations and promoting teamwork and camaraderie in every match. Her family and friends often delighted in watching her demonstrate her skills on the field, but it was her ability to encourage others that truly left a lasting impact.

Lynn’s devotion to her family was at the core of her being. She is survived by her beloved father, Charles E. Yeary; her daughters, Sydney (Mathew) Shuck of Bedford, KY, Tailor (Zach) Stockdale of Madison, IN, and Bella Lozier of Carrollton, KY; her son, Darrin Elijah Dean Brock of Carrollton, KY; her brothers, Christopher (Patty) Yeary of Carrollton, Ky  and Charles "Chuck" (Shirley) Yeary of Falmouth, KY; and her cherished grandchildren, Ruby, Gemma, Theo, Wyatt, and Alec. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she devoted countless hours to nurturing their dreams and supporting their endeavors. She is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.

Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lee Gross Yeary, whose loving memory remains an integral part of Lynns story and spirit.

The family invites all who knew and loved Lynn to join them in celebrating her life on August 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the General Butler Back Shelter House, located at 1608 Hwy 227, Carrollton, Kentucky. This gathering will serve as a tribute to Mary’s legacy and the incredible influence she had on all who crossed her path.

As we remember Mary Lynn Yeary, we honor a remarkable woman whose kindness, creativity, and dedication to family have shaped the lives of many. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
