Mary Hughes

Mary Alice Hughes, age 86, of Carrollton, KY passed this life on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital – Florence, KY.  She entered life in Carroll County, KY, on August 12, 1935, to John Frank (Sr.) and Rosa Mae Kelsey Sanders. Mary was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Ghent, KY and was retired as an inspector from the Teledyne-Wirz Factory.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her daughters; Rosalyn (Gary) Holder of Avon, IN, Pamela (Robert) Netherton of Frankfort, KY and Lottie Taylor of Carrollton, KY, a son: Charles (Gwen) Taylor of Madison, IN, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Terry Dean Taylor, two sisters: Carrie Margaret Mumphrey and Nina Sue Hartley and a brother: John Sanders.
