Mary Faye Alsip, (née Campbell), a devoted housewife and homemaker, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, in Warsaw, Kentucky. Born on November 18, 1949, in Corbin, Kentucky, Mary Faye lived a life distinguished by her unwavering commitment to her family and her faith.
Mary Faye's life was marked by her profound dedication as a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church, where her faith was a cornerstone and source of strength throughout her years. She cherished her church community deeply, holding close both the spiritual guidance it provided and the friendships she cultivated within its walls.
Her proudest accomplishments were grounded in the love she shared with her family and her church family alike. A loving wife and caring mother, Mary Faye is remembered for the warmth and support she extended to those closest to her. Prior to her passing, she endured the loss of her beloved husband, James Ray Alsip, who died in March 2006, as well as her parents, James and Novada Taylor Campbell.
Mary Faye is survived by her three devoted daughters, Frieda Campbell of Trenton, Ohio; Tammy Reyes of Carrollton, Kentucky; and Kathy (James) Osborne of Owenton, Kentucky, Seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Their lives stand as a testament to her nurturing spirit and enduring influence.
The family will gather to honor Mary Faye’s memory with a visitation held on May 28, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Apostolic Church, located on 8th Street in Carrollton, Kentucky. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 1:00 PM, allowing all who knew Mary Faye to pay their final respects and celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Calvary Apostolic Church in care of the funeral home.
Mary Faye Alsip’s legacy is one of steadfast devotion—to her family, her faith, and the community she held dear. Her gentle presence and loving nature will be deeply missed, but the impact of her life will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
