Marlene Joy Roaden Puckett, 86, of Carrollton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, in Carrollton, surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was born on November 2, 1939, in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late Lawrence and Allie Roaden.

In 1958, while working at the Triangle Bag Factory in Covington, KY, Marlene met Edsel “Dale” Puckett. She dedicated her life to loving God and serving people. She was a selfless woman who consistently put the needs of others before her own, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and generosity.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Rev. E. D. Puckett; her children, Connie (Ron) Tiller, Eddie Puckett, and Dalena (Warren) Finney; her grandchildren, Brittany (Bill) Lewis, Alicia Puckett, Chasity (Jimmy) Haynes, Chera (Grant) Sparks, Mariah (Andrew) Clark, Blake Finney, Lane (Allie) Finney, and Katie Beth Finney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mae Durham, Fae Martin, Amos Roaden, Leland Roaden, Felan Roaden, Jane Disney, Charley Roaden, Shirley Coffee, Gary Roaden, Larry Roaden, Billy Roaden, and Junior Hodge; and her great-granddaughter, Cadence Danae Clark.
