Marlene Krohn Alexander

Marlene Krohn Alexander, age 79, of Carrollton, KY passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville.  She was born in English, Carroll County, KY on May 13, 1943 to William “Bill” and Stella Mae Winburn Krohn.  Marlene was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton and Turners Station Baptist Church in Turners Station, KY, a homemaker and home healthcare provider.  Her hobbies included baking birthday and wedding cakes, crafting, painting, gardening, cooking and fishing.

Family left to mourn her passing include her husband, Paul E. Alexander, two daughters, Fleicia (odd spelling is correct) A. Smith of Eminence, KY and Paula Fox of North Vernon, IN, three sons, James E. Satchwell, Jr. of English, KY, Gerry Lee (Regina) Satchwell of Sanders, KY and Berry Lee Satchwell of Port Royal, KY, three sisters, Willena Beach of Carrollton, KY, Kathy Arvin of Carrollton, KY and Mayme Martin of Vevay, IN, a one brother, Gene Krohn of Carrollton, KY, sixteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by, her parents, two sons, Terry Lynn Satchwell and David Alexander, a sister, Lucy Forwood, two brothers, Raymond Krohn and Ronnie Krohn, a granddaughter, Linzy Satchwell, and a grandson, Cory Satchwell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 27, 2023 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Monday 03/27/2023 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the English Cemetery.
