Mark David Winslow, 61, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.
He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on August 5, 1956, the son of the late Clyde S. Winslow and Doris J. Cookson Winslow. He had worked for the State Of Kentucky as a Corrections Officer at the Luther Luckett State Prison in La Grange, KY. He had served his country with great honor in the United States Navy from September 26, 1974 to April 16, 1977. While he served in the Navy, he participated in the Defensive Driving Course, Shipboard Fire Fighting Course and the Construction Mechanic Class "A" School. He was a member of the American Legion Post #41 in Carrollton.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Vickie Marsh Winslow of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Misty D. Justice of Louisville, KY, three sisters, Judith D. Blinzer, Willa Buchanan and Claudia Coleman of the Kansas City, KS area, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Karen McGowen.
