Marjorie Marie "Margie" Couch, a devoted member of the English Christian Church since her teenage years, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Born on September 29, 1941, in Carrollton, Kentucky, Margie lived a life characterized by kindness, devotion to family, and a deep appreciation for the simple wonders of the world around her.

Margie was known for her avid love of reading, finding joy and comfort within the pages of countless books. She had a profound affection for butterflies and flowers, often spending her time outdoors, where she felt most at peace. Above all, Margie cherished her time with her grandbabies, whose presence brought immense happiness to her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Colleen Couch Miller of Shelbyville, Kentucky; Marla Couch (Kevin) Bickers of Carrollton, Kentucky; and Adrienne Couch Supplee of Carrollton, Kentucky. Margie also rejoiced in the lives of her grandchildren: Justin Craig (Katie) Baker, Joshua Bickers, Dakota (Ashley) Bickers, Mallary (Case) Craig, Kyle Supplee, Cole Supplee, and Emersynn Supplee. Her family further extends to twelve great-grandchildren, whose bright spirits were a testament to her enduring legacy.

Margie's life was shaped and enriched by family members who have since passed: her father, Everett Lee Smith; her mother, Elizabeth Moscoe Smith; her brother, Bishop Lee Smith; her grandchild, Devin Bickers; and her great grandchild, Gabriel Logan Baker;  They are remembered with love and respect as part of the foundation that supported Margie throughout her journey.

Throughout her life, Margie remained a pillar of faith and strength within her community and family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, yet the memories she leaves behind and the love she shared will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have been touched by her grace.

Marjorie Marie Couch's legacy is one of warmth, faith, and familial devotion—a life well-lived and fondly remembered by many.
