Margaret Butts

Margaret Ann Butts, 94, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, May 1, 2020 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

She was born on April 24, 1926 in Georgetown, Scott County, KY, the daughter of the late Maylon Tapp and Estelle O’Banion Tapp. She had formerly owned Top Hat Beauty Shop in Carrollton.  She retired in 2011 as a licensed Cosmetologist and Hairdresser.  She was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter; Charlotte Howard of Carrollton, KY, two grandchildren; Andy Howard of Glencoe, KY, and Ashley Froman of Carrollton, KY, and two great grandchildren; Adam and Alex Froman of Carrollton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Russell E. Butts on June 20, 1991 a sister; Louise Brumback on March 15, 2019, and a son in-law; Jimmie Howard on June 22, 2002.

Private funeral services will be held at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home due to the CoVid19 restrictions imposed by Governor Andy Beshear and the CDC.  Burial will be private in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
