Marcella Whisman, 67, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, August 15, 2016 at her residence in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on February 27, 1949 in Shepherdsville, Bullit County, KY, the daughter of the late Lee Rummage and Ivy Troxell Rummage. She had worked in housekeeping at the former Blue Gables Motel in Carrollton for many years. She was a member of Carrollton Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Whisman of Carrollton, KY, a son, Vernon Whisman of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Leann Stevens of Vevay, IN, a brother, Bobby Rummage of Shepherdsville, KY, three sisters, Kathy Cark of Shepherdsville, KY, Jean Stover of Lebanon Junction, KY, and Vicky Benham of Shepherdsville, KY, along with six grandchildren also surviving.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Rummage.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Visitation
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Haynes officiating the service.
Interment
Burial will be in the Shady Lawn Memory Gardens in Shelbyville, KY.
