He was born in Pueblo, Mexico the son of Trinidad Velasquez and Eleazar Velasquez Sarrano. He was a Tobacco Farmer and a member of St. John Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Cecillia Avila Velasquez and two children; Citlalli Naomi and Alexander Manuel who died approximately 2 years ago in a home accident in Warsaw, KY.
Local survivors include a brother; Hugo Velasquez of Carrollton, KY.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
