Lucy Lewis
May 26, 1932 — May 11, 2006
Lucy Jane Lewis, 73,of Ghent, KY., died at 1:40 A.M. on Thursday morning at the Carroll County Hospital.
She was born in Owen County, KY., the daughter of the late Paul and Mae Bell Clifton Henderson. She was a Homemaker and a member of Sanders Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include four daughters; Beulah Fryman of Rising Sun, IN., Nelda Jane Vannarsdall of Carrollton, KY., Nancy Lee Bailey of Bedford, KY., and Phyllis Jean Lewis of Ghent, KY., a sister; Mary Betty Eddingfield of Summerfield, FL., thirteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Ruben Lee Lewis in 1966, her son; Joe Lewis and two sisters; Dorothy Mae Lewis and Ethel Myers and one brother; Paul Henderson, Jr.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
